Desjardins Global Asset Management Inc. announced on Thursday plans to terminate four of its multifactor-controlled volatility ETFs.

Specifically, the following funds will be delisted from the Toronto Stock Exchange on or about July 28, 2021:

  • Desjardins Canada Multifactor-Controlled Volatility ETF;
  • Desjardins USA Multifactor-Controlled Volatility ETF;
  • Desjardins Developed ex-USA ex-Canada Multifactor-Controlled Volatility ETF; and
  • Desjardins Emerging Markets Multifactor-Controlled Volatility ETF.

The funds will stop accepting subscriptions for units as of July 14, and a release said the funds are closing after a routine review determined “relatively low assets under management.”

Desjardins has also announced fee reductions for three of its cap-weighted low CO2 ETFs.

The Desjardins RI Canada – Low CO2 Index ETF now has a management fee of 0.15%, down from 0.25%. The Desjardins RI USA – Low CO2 Index ETF’s management fee is now 0.20%, compared with 0.25%. And, the Desjardins RI Developed ex-USA ex-Canada – Low CO2 Index ETF now has a management fee of 0.25%, down from 0.30%.
