Fidelity launches equity fund

Fidelity Investments Canada ULC has launched Fidelity North American Equity Class, which offers opportunities in the Canadian and U.S. equity markets.

Generally, the fund will invest no more than approximately 50% of its net assets in Canadian equity securities. It may invest up to approximately 20% of its net assets in equity securities of companies located outside of Canada and/or the U.S.

Fidelity Canada is also introducing a currency neutral version of one of its funds. Effective today, Canadians will be able to invest in Fidelity Global Intrinsic Value Currency Neutral Class.
