FP Canada recognizes top performers of latest QAFP exam

FP Canada has recognized the top candidates of the October sitting of the qualified associate financial planner (QAFP) exam.

Receiving the QAFP Exam Award of Merit are:

  • Colin Pullen, Edmonton, Alta., RBC Dominion Securities; first place
  • Meghan MacPherson, Thorold, Ont., Impact Financial Group Inc.; second place tie
  • Alex Zegers, Mississauga, Ont., Edward Jones; second place tie

“I would like to congratulate Colin, Meghan and Alex on their outstanding performances on the QAFP exam,” Tashia Batstone, president and CEO of FP Canada, said in a release. “We at FP Canada wish you the very best of luck as you continue to advance in your financial planning careers.”

The October sitting had 69 exam writers, and the pass rate was 82.5%.
