IA Clarington launches U.S. equities fund

IA Clarington Investments Inc. announced the launch of the IA Clarington Loomis U.S. All Cap Growth Fund on Thursday.

The actively managed fund uses bottom-up stock selection to invest in American companies of any size across all sectors in pursuit of a strong total return, according to a release.

The fund, managed by Aziz V. Hamzaogullari, founder of the growth equity strategies team at Loomis, Sayles & Company, L.P., has a high-conviction portfolio of 35–40 stocks, with an active share typically greater than 80%.

“We are long-term, patient investors,” Hamzaogullari said in a statement. “We strategically allocate capital to select high-quality businesses with sustainable growth, only when they trade at a significant discount to our estimate of intrinsic value.”
