Toronto-based Mackenzie Investments has introduced a new fixed-income ETF with a sustainable focus.

The Mackenzie Global Sustainable Bond ETF invests primarily in fixed-income securities that are focused on sustainable and responsible global issuers, a Thursday release said, noting a proprietary method is used to analyze environmental, social and governance (ESG) data points.

The new ETF, now trading on the NEO Exchange, is managed by the Mackenzie fixed-income team.

Mackenzie’s ETF business now includes 42 Canadian-listed funds, with more than $11 billion in assets under management.
