The Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) has launched new tools to help advisors serve senior clients.

The Financial Health for Seniors initiative will provide advisors with free resources through a dedicated website and a series of educational webinars, a release said.

The initiative is managed by an advisory council and content committee of CSI designation holders who have experience working with senior clients.

“It is essential that financial advisors understand the mindset of their clients, who need to make important decisions on their hard-earned savings,” said Daniel Plouffe, director of wealth solutions with Sun Life and a member of the advisory council.

“This initiative will certainly help designation holders from coast to coast support our seniors in their quest for long-term financial security.”
