New responsible investing site lists products, advisors

Those interested in learning more about responsible investment (RI) advice, products and related services have a new website they can turn to.

The Toronto-based Responsible Investment Association (RIA) announced the launch of RI Marketplace on Thursday.

The site offers an online directory of more than 150 RI investment products; a listing of RI service providers; and an interactive Canada-wide map of advisors, financial institutions and asset managers who are RIA members (the map also indicates which advisors have RI certifications).

“We’re thrilled to make responsible investing more accessible to Canadian investors and market participants, and we will continue to develop the RI Marketplace further as the market grows and evolves,” RIA CEO Dustyn Lanz said in a release.

In addition to RI Marketplace, the RIA has also launched a digital magazine focused on RI news, op-eds and industry trends.
