The board of directors of the Ombudsman for Banking Services and Investments (OBSI) has named new members to its Consumer and Investor Advisory Council.

Guy Lemoine, who has been appointed as council chair, has been a member since 2014. A lawyer by profession, he’s previously worked with the Office of the Attorney General of Quebec, specializing in economic crime, and with the Department of Justice, Canada. He chairs disciplinary proceedings conducted by IIROC, and is a current board member of FAIR Canada.

Also joining the council will be five new members: Mohinder Singh Bajwa, Harold Geller, Wanda Morris, Harvey Naglie and Andrew Teasdale. They’ll work alongside Eric Spink and Richard Swift, who are continuing members.

Outgoing members include chair Julia Dublin as well as Ermanno Pascutto and Nidhi Tandon, OBSI says in its release.
