The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) seeks applicants for its independent investor advisory panel, the regulator said in a release on Thursday.

The panel provides an investor perspective on policy, rule making and other regulatory initiatives.

Some member terms have ended or will end over the coming year, and new members will be appointed to staggered terms beginning at different points throughout the year as vacancies arise, the release said.

Members are appointed for terms of up to two years and are compensated for attending meetings ($325 per panel meeting up to 12 meetings annually), preparing for meetings ($325 per day) and writing comment letters ($325 per day), according to the panel’s terms of reference. Travel expenses are also covered.

Resumés should be submitted by June 15. Consult the release for further details.
