Two firms recognized at hedge fund awards

This week, the 2014 Canadian Hedge Fund Awards took place in Toronto.

The event, now it its seventh year, highlights performance excellence in the hedge fund industry, and this was the first year the program was expanded to include service provider categories.

During the event, CommonWealth Fund Services was recognized as Canada’s best hedge fund administrator.

Further, Fiera Capital senior portfolio manager Jean-Philippe Choquette and his team were honoured in the Market Neutral category. They ranking second and third for best one-year return, and were also recognized for best five-year return and best five-year Sharpe ratio.
