The search is on for Governor Mark Carney’s replacement, reports CTV.

It adds an announcement posted on the Bank of Canada website says ads have been placed in The Economist, La Presse and the Globe and Mail.

Meanwhile, Carney has made the headlines again as Canadian Press’ business newsmaker of the year.

The Financial Post says it was hard to ignore him throughout 2012, as he “blasted business leaders” and pestered Canadians about proper money management.
